There are hundred of camping sites on Lake Havasu. Some are only accessible by boat. Most are on the Arizona side of the lake and range from Lake Havasu City south to Parker, Arizona. Most have boat ramps, picnic tables, drinking water, flush toilets and shower facilities and are RV friendly. The amenities vary by campsite. Nominal fees are charged and are subject to change without notice. These camping sites do not accept reservations and are first come, first serve. Expect crowded grounds during peak periods particularly during holiday weekends. Always call ahead for conditions, restrictions, fees and directions. Also see RV Parks and Campgrounds.

Lake Havasu State Park

Hotels-Lake Havasu City AZ

Located on the shores of Lake Havasu on the Arizona side. Lake Havasu State Park is located near the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City AZ. The park features 47 campsites, 3 boat ramps, beautiful beaches, picnic area and the Mohave Sunset Hiking Trail, a 1.5 mile trail that winds through the desert and along the lake's shoreline.

There are no RV hookups. There are flush toilets, dumping facility, drinking water, flush toilets, picnic tables and fire rings. Pets are permitted when on leash. Often during peak periods such as holiday weekends it reaches capacity forcing the park to deny entry when full. Fees are charged. The park does not accept reservations. Always contact the park for fee and regulations.

Shoreline Camping (Bureau of Land Management)

These camping sites are only accessible by watercraft. Managed by the Bureau of Land Management, there are 105 camp sites along the Lake Havasu shoreline on the Arizona side. The camping sites run from Lake Havasa City to Parker Dam. All sites are first come, first serve. Reservations are not accepted.

Most camping sites include shade ramada, picnic tables, barbecue grill, pit toilet and trash can. Fees are charged. For more information, contact the Bureau of Land Management in Lake Havasu City AZ.

Cattail Cove State Park

Located on the Arizona side about 10 miles south of Lake Havasu City. Cattail Cove State Park is a 2,000 acre park operated by Arizona State Parks. Its beach, boat ramp and 61 camping sites are RV friendly with full hookups and dump station. Tent camping is permitted and feature showers, picnic tables and swimming areas. Fees are charged and reservations are not accepted. If you have a boat you can also access 28 campsites along the shores. Contact Cattail State Park for fees and more information.
